Pitt vs. Georgia Tech at Heinz Field

Pre-registration is closed. You can register at the PBAC tailgate on October 25.

|11:30 a.m.||Tailgate: Tentative location is Gold Lot 2 between General Robinson Street and the entrance on Chuck Noll Way (look for the large rental truck)|

|2:30 p.m.||March to Victory Parade into Stadium (required if not purchasing ticket independently)
The alumni will enter the stadium with the varsity band. Our seating section is in the end zone near Gate A (beneath the scoreboard)

Cost & Registration
All ABD activities are included in your annual dues. This includes the game admission and tailgate. There will be a registration and check-in table at the tailgate before the game. Please remember to come by upon your arrival, where you can also pay the $25 annual dues if not prepaid (free for first year graduates) as well as purchase the 100-Year jacket for $10 (if needed) and other merchandise.
The anticipated attire for the day is the Pitt Band Alumni 100-Year jacket and khaki pants. You may bring your jacket from past year’s ABD or purchase one for $10 at the tailgate this year before going into the stadium. Additionally, we would encourage you to wear a blue Pitt or Pitt Band Alumni polo under the jacket, ideally dark shoes, blue Pitt ball cap optional, but mainly...just wear what is comfortable and gets you into the game-day spirit!
We will have limited percussion and low brass instruments available to borrow on the day of the game. All other instruments should be brought with you. For anyone planning to borrow a low brass instrument or percussion, PLEASE let us know in advance if you need one as our supplies are limited and we need to know how many to load onto our truck. Note however that we are very short on mouthpieces for these instruments so please bring your own if at all possible, or if you have extras that you’d be willing to share for the day, it would be much appreciated. All other instruments though should plan to bring their own.
Pregame Concert, 1:30 p.m. Location: Steps outside of Gate A The pregame concert with the varsity band will occur outside of Gate A. We will play the music for the day (Pitt fight songs) with the varsity band. You can download the music if you want to preview or print it (password is hailtopitt); copies will be available upon registration at the game. This performance is optional.
Parade Into Stadium, 2:30 p.m.
Location: Corner of Tony Dorsett Dr and General Robinson St
In order to get into the game, you MUST either:
- Participate in the parade and march into the stadium with the band and alumni
- Meet us at the northeast entrance of the stadium where the band marches into Heinz Field, wearing your khaki pants and the 100 Year Jacket that will be available that morning to pick up at registration, or your respective Golden Girl attire
- Have your own ticket and meet the alumni inside before halftime
We will join the varsity band for the Pitt Fight song portion of the halftime show. The music will be Victory, Hail to Pitt, and Alma Mater. You can download the music if you want to preview or print it (password is hailtopitt); copies will be available upon registration at the game.
During the third quarter, someone from PBAC will be manning the truck so that you can get cases, etc if you need to leave early. Note that there is no re-entry to Heinz Field once you exit the stadium. We also plan to have a postgame tailgate for anyone that is interested.
